Hyper-Local Sponsored Community Posts

Services for Real Estate Pros with Second Self Virtual Assistance

Not so long ago, Active Rain started offering up community sponsorships so that members could start writing hyper-local posts about the communities they serve and get an extra "bang" for their buck.  As you know, hyper-local posts are SUPER for Google juice.  The more you write about the communities you serve, the more of an authority you appear and the higher the likelihood that you will receive inquiries from potential clients looking for a home in the area.

A question that has popped up with my clients is "How do I get my post added to my sponsored community page"?  It's a simple extra mouse click to take care of.  But, if you have this same question, let me enlighten you.  Much like Localism posts of the past, after you finish writing your post, you will see a section marked "Post To".  The top selection is "Hyper-Local Pages".  This is also where the "Localism" posts will go.  Click that box, enter the State/Province, County and City.  However, in order to make sure your post gets added to your sponsored community page, make sure to choose the correct neighborhood.  Even if you don't sponsor that community, you will want to post it there so that readers have easy access to these posts.

Hyper-Local Sponsored Community Posts

Hope this answers any questions you may have about your hyper-local sponsored community posts.

I hope you are kidding about the hyper-local being LOUSY for Google Juice.  I find it to be just the opposite.  I truly hope you were being facetious!

Great information Heather! I don't think everyone is aware of the neighborhood feature. In addition, if the neighborhood is not there, you have the ability to add it!

But, Gary.  I said it was lousy "with" Google Juice, not lousy "for" Google Juice.  The Google Juice is aplenty for posts.

I changed it, Gary, so that no one else thinks I meant it was lousy for Google Juice.  Thanks. ;)

Exactly, Stephanie.  If you want people to know what YOU know about a community, you gotta write them blogs.  Even if you aren't able to sponsor a community, you should still post to that community.  You don't have to sponsor it to be able to post it.

You're welcome, Miss Carra.  The sponsored communities are slightly different than Localism.  One more step makes a world of difference in posting.
