Somerset is a jewel, an affordable neighborhood set among luxury home communities along the border between Marvin NC and South Charlotte. The Somerset lifestyle offers the best of all worlds with lower Union County NC taxes and easy accessibility to the amenities and shopping centers along I-485. Somerset is located in unincorporated Union County between Marvin and Weddington with a Waxhaw mailing address.
Pretty stone and iron gates welcome you to Somerset. The entrance is a long wooded drive lined with magnolias and a walking trail that ends at the neighborhood clubhouse and recreational amenities.
Four different builders built the homes in Somerset from approximately 1998 to 2001. The homes range in size from about 2200 square feet to almost 4000 square feet. Many homes have wooded backyards. Most of the homes have brick accents in the front with vinyl sides. Some full brick homes are available.
