I'm very excited to tell you today that I'm the new CEO of Zillow. Rich Barton is now Executive Chairman, and Lloyd Frink (formerly the President) is now Chief Strategy Officer.
I've been with Zillow for more than five years, and it has been an extremely exciting adventure so far. Zillow is now profitable, which is a great milestone for any startup. We've come a long way in four years, but we're just getting started.
Finally, a big "thank you" to the Active Rain community for everything that you've taught me about real estate, and for the invaluable feedback you've given me about Zillow -- both good and bad. Keep it comin'.
As part of today's announcement, I had to take some cheesy new press photos. I figured I'd share them here with you. For the last few years, my daughter was in one of the press pictures. So it's time for my son to get in on the fun. That's him on the jungle gym in the back of the third photo.
