Useful Websites #17

Here is Useful Websites #17:

(Day 17 of my 30-day challenge!)

Do you remember what was the clue or hint I had given for this site? Something similar to my Useful Website #16 - Jing.

There are many screen capture products in market. Simplest of all is the use of 'PRTSC' key on your keyboard. But that has limited functionality, that's where other solutions have come up.

One of them was 'Jing'. If you do not like the Jing, you have a good news - you can try an alternate solution for screen capture. If you like the Jing, you have a competition - and see if this website has something more to offer to you than Jing. (Hence, two in a row of similar useful websites.)

Here is the answer for Useful Website #17:

http://www.ScreenPresso.com

Taking screenshots has never been so easy and efficient!

We take the best from screen capture tools to make the greatest.

So what is ScreenPresso?

SCREENPRESSO is a light-weight Windows software giving a professional look to your screenshots for FREE !

In a simplistic form - it captures the screen content and saves as a file which can be edited using different software.

This is from their home page:

Features

Capture windows and region

Capture Region

Capture part of the screen or a specific window with the same shortcut. Simple.

Portable application

Capture Region

No need to install the application, you can run it directly after download.

Screenshot history

History

Don't bother to save screenshots on your drive, Screenpresso does it for you. Practical

Attach screenshots to emails

Drag & drop screenshot from History

Drag and drop screenshots from the history directly to your favorite email editor. Webmails like GMail are also taken into account! Swift.

Built-in image editor

Built-in editor

Crop, spotlight an area or comment parts of a captured image. Efficient.

Capture scrolling part

Capture scrolling part

Can't fit it on the screen ? Make a unique image thanks to the stitching mechanism. Smart.

Add effects

Add image effect

Look like a pro. Add drop shadow, rounded corners, reflection and more. Sleek.

Resize bunch of images

ScreenpressoResize and export

Need to export images or create thumbnails at a specific size, one click.

Share screenshots

ScreenpressoTwitter

Easily share your screenshots via Twitter, Facebook, G-Mail, Evernote, Flickr or FTP.

The best feature I like is - capturing scrolling screen. It's so easy to capture a scrolling screen as compared to many other screen-capture programs I have used. Saving screenshot history within the system is another good feature.

It does come in two flavors - like Jing: Free and Pro. Though I did not see much difference between the two - as yet. Pro will have some additional features for video and will be at $10/year or so. (please check before you sign up for Pro.)

Click here for Complete Feature List of ScreenPresso.

I am sure you'll try this out - at least once and see if it is helpful to you or not.

I know, there is a not much written about ScreenPresso on ActiveRain. Hope you liked it. For tomorrow - get ready to get leads! Don't miss this one!

Your comments/suggestions are welcome.

I have joined the blog-a-day blogathon for next 30 days. This is day 17 of the 30-day-challenge. Woohoo...more than half-the-way through!

In these 30 days, what better could it be to share something either I learned from some of the ActiveRainers or some other resource online and share it with the group?

At times, I may not know where and how I learnt about the websites and may not be able to give due credit to someone who informed me about that, but I still want to Thank all of them who contributed to my knowledge which I plan to share.

I am trying to use different field each day - and have now more than 30 such websites. Will I continue after 30 days? Let's see - first things first- I want to completed this 30-day challenge. I am trying to avoid some of the more familiar websites and focusing on some that may not be known to most of you - and still, yes, useful.

You can create a free account on many of these websites and some of them may have some minimal subscription fees. I am sure, these websites will help you in your business - one way or another.

(Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with any of these websites not do I derive any income from any of these sites - except that I do subscribe to some of these services. Please use  them at your own risk - and let me tell you, I have used them and did not find it 'risky'.)

Thanks, Mike, for your comments and encouragement.

And, if time permits, I'll have a detailed post for AltosResearch - a real great tool and yes, our MLS can get some of these reports but not what you find in the next level of Altos.
