Edina Realty, Buffalo Mn real estate agents are extremely busy with home buyers. Home buyers in the Wright County area including  Annandale, Buffalo, Clearwater, Cokato, Delano, Maple Lake, Monticello, Montrose, South Haven, St. Michael and all of our other beautiful towns are recognizing the awesome values that exist in the real estate market.

Interest rates are so low they may as well be free. Home prices are incredibly affordable making a real estate purchase once again, a strong investment of your monthly income.

Before you hop in your car though, we want to share some important points that will make you home buying experience so much more enjoyable.House hunting, real estate home buying,Car

1.) Get pre-approved first - there is nothing worse than picking the home you want and then financing can't be arranged.

2.) Be clear about your wants and what you are willing to pay(you may be pre-approved to a certain limit, but you may not be comfortable with the monthly payment)

3.) Know what your abilities are to make repairs or improvements (especially on bank owned foreclosures or short sales)

2.) Select your agent and be sure that they are someone you can work with through the entire process.

3.) When your agent tells you that a property has come on the market that fits your criteria, move quickly. (the incredible values sell fast)

4.) If you have scheduled a showing and cannot make it, please understand that the seller has probably worked hard, or made arrangements for pets and children in order to have the home ready for showing. Alert your agent as soon as possible so they can call the listing agent and notify the seller.

5.) Be relaxed, dress comfortable and don't feel rushed. (Don't go hungry either) Select your potential houses to look at because there is a draw to the property, not just because it's in your price range. There are 44,000 homes on the Multiple Listing Service. You probably only want to really look at 15.

6.) Understand the offer process. When negotiations between buyer and seller go back and forth more than 3 times, the odds increase that it's not going to come together. Make your best offer first. Use your agent's guidance to determine a good offer. That's our expertise and we know how to do it.
