Here is Useful Websites #19:

(Day 19 of my 30-day challenge!)

Do you remember what was the clue or hint I had given for this site? In fact, I did not provide any clue yesterday - so with that I am free to share any of the remainnig 12 sites that I have in mind.

I hope you liked the L2L website - and the capability to generate lead from that website. Today, I'll be again a consumer of technology. I am going to provide a site that may be free. And when I said FREE, you have something that is free - and for additional services, you may have to pay.

So here is the fun site....

Photo editing made fun - (Free! No registration required.)

This name may be familiar to many of you - and I'd say, I use only a fraction of this website - but sure it is useful. My use is limited to only re-sizing the pictures, by the way!

What does this website do?

Picnik makes your photos fabulous with easy to use yet powerful editing tools. Tweak to your heart’s content, then get creative with oodles of effects, fonts, shapes, and frames. It's fast, easy, and fun.

And What is free with this online services?

  • Fix your photos in just one click
  • Use advanced controls to fine-tune your results
  • Crop, resize, and rotate in real-time
  • Tons of special effects, from artsy to fun
  • Astoundingly fast, right in your browser
  • Awesome fonts and top-quality type tool
  • Basketfuls of shapes from hand-picked designers
  • Works on Mac, Windows, and Linux
  • No download required, nothing to install

Once you upload a photo, you can re-size, auto-fix, rotate, crop, remove red-eys, change exposure, color or sharpen it. Basically, if you have a photo editing software, it's fine - but if you don't have one, go for picnic...oops go to and carry out most photo-editing tasks online and save the file.

When you upgrade to Premium account (about $25/year only), you get lot more.

I am sure you'll try this out - at least once and see if it is helpful to you or not.

    Your comments/suggestions are welcome.

I have joined the blog-a-day blogathon for 30 days. This is day 19 of the 30-day-challenge. Woohoo...more than 60% through! and I know, it does get tougher and tougher as you reach your goal.

In these 30 days, what better could it be to share something either I learned from some of the ActiveRainers or some other resource online and share it with the group?

At times, I may not know where and how I learnt about the websites and may not be able to give due credit to someone who informed me about that, but I still want to Thank all of them who contributed to my knowledge which I plan to share.

I am trying to use different field each day - and have now more than 30 such websites. Will I continue after 30 days? Let's see - first things first- I want to completed this 30-day challenge. I am trying to avoid some of the more familiar websites and focusing on some that may not be known to most of you - and still, yes, useful.

You can create a free account on many of these websites and some of them may have some minimal subscription fees. I am sure, these websites will help you in your business - one way or another.

(Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with any of these websites not do I derive any income from any of these sites - except that I do subscribe to some of these services. Please use them at your own risk - and let me tell you, I have used them and did not find it 'risky'.)

Look out for the next in series - Useful Websites #20 - and it will be....

    Hi Prayful,

Picnik is one of my very favorites, I use it all the time. I actually paid for the upgraded version (still really worth the price) I use it almost daily.

Btw, I'll be checking your other links to see what else you've covered, thanks!

I love picnik!  I use it a lot for my real estate shots.  It can be difficult getting good lighting in some of these homes and picnik is excellent for this

Great to know that this site is not as much unknown as I thought. Do check some other sites from my previous posts, too. You may find something useful.

Praful, thanks for the links to the sites and the useful first-hand information.  I think all these sites present an opportunity to keep our desktops clean and our laptops that much less cluttered.  These are great ways to keep us more automated so we can keep our minds on our clients and their best interests.

I've pretty much blogged every day since I've joined the ActiveRain community.  Do you suggest I do the challenge also?  I guess I am asking to hear more feedback you have about doing the challenge and, more important, what you've learned from doing it.

PS. IF you don't already have connections in Vancouver, BC - would you be interested in becoming part of my referral database and vice versa?
