Hendersonville NC Events for September 17-18, 2010
This is the last week of Summer, and Sunday begins the season of great colors in Western North Carolina. You can read all about the Fall in Western North Carolina , and find out where the best scenic drives and hikes. We are hearing that this fall may be the prettiest one in years. I am looking forward to this fall.
This is the last weekend for the Mountain State Fair, held in Fletcher, NC. It is being celebrated at the WNC Agricultural Center located on Highway 280, right across from the Asheville, NC Airport. With free parking and low entry fees, this is a great place for the kids.
While you are here, don't forget to visit Historic Downtown Hendersonville. It is a great place to hang out and eat good food, stroll Main Street and discover all of the great little shops we have.
The Dirty Dancing Festival is happening in Beautiful Lake Lure this weekend. That promises to be a great event.
