Composting is one more way we can recycle. Compostings is simply turning your food such as over ripe fruits and veggies, old bread and leftovers into rich and nutrient soil amendment.
Sunnyvale offers workshops on everything you need to know about starting a backyard composting pile. For Sunnyvale residences, classes are held at the Heritage Building at 550 E. Remington Dr. Next class is October 9, 2010 from 10am til 12noon.
