Nothing a frustrating as getting to an open house and realizing you've missed something.
Always compare notes with the listing agent the week before - are there flyers onsite? MLS sheets (with other details not on a flyer), sellers property disclosures?.
One idea I like is to make a trifold brochure of your buyer and seller services, and staple your card to them. Hand those to visitors with the flyer.
Also, use a one-page sign-in sheet for each guest/group. I have 2 clipboards with sheets and pens available at all times.
Make yourself look like the pro you are!
Always take some small give aways with you. They should always walk out of the door with something with your information on it. The longer they keep it the more likely they will call you.
Good Luck with your Real Estate Future. Sounds like you are on the right track.
You need to find what they are looking for and make them convert because you understand their wants and needs. On your flyers promote your blog, promote your website, promote all niches that you want to pursue. You can do this on the back if it is blank.
For example I put New Construction (add my new construction domain), Rentals (add that domain), Foreclosures & Short Sales (add that domain), etc.
Put enough poles in the water and you will catch more fish.
Another non threatening way to gather leads is to ask for their email address and put together a monthly newsletter full of real estate tips, statistics and information. A great way to touch!
