Feeling Your Way Around Your Competitors Websites - The 30 Day Challenge Day 3/Module 5

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Marketing with Kate
Today you will be shown how to evaluate the websites of other Real Estate Agents in your market and get a feeling for how they position their websites for consumers.

You'll be shown how to determine the keyword density of your competitors, the content that they use and even what market niche that they are concentrating on. Why is this important? It allows you to develop content that is highly targeted so that your customers can find you. If there are 5 strong competitors for a single set of key words, you probably don't want to compete with those words. Choose different keywords that will allow you to climb to the top of Search Engine Rankings and get found. Enjoy

Actions For The Day- 1. Perform a competitor analysis of the top 10 sites in the SEO Competition module for your keyword phrases. 2. Makes notes about the sites in terms of what kind of site they are (blog, ecommerce etc), what kind of information they provide, how often are they are updated, what are they selling? 3. Go to Google and also look at the ads for your keyword phrase, again using the same evaluation process.

Kate, I am tired tonight, but I will come back to take a look at this.  There are some neighborhoods that I find there are many people competing for page one.   Tere

Endre, there is a huge amount of information that is shared here.  I've together a list of key lessons as a reference point.  If you can go through the whole process you will find it worth the time.  If not, pick and choose, it will still be valuable.

Tare, I never thought about individual neighborhoods.  This would be an interesting way to evaluate your farm.  Good stuff, thanks for stopping by.
