Hummingbird Feeders
I have shown a lot of homes in the Pell City, St Clair and Talladega area that had hummingbird feeders in their back yard. So this year, I put up a hummingbird feeder. I have enjoyed sitting on my deck and watching the little guys feed.
It is understood that the hummingbirds will migrate. Do you do take the feeder down now, or wait until all the other hummingbirds have had time to pass through the area on their way to migrate to take it down?

I keep my feeders up until I don't see any hummingbirds for a few days. I love to sit on the deck and watch them...very territorial though.
The hummers are really wearing out the feeders around the house. We are going through a pint of juice a day...

Just when you think they are all gone, here comes another one, and another one, so I would leave it up until it gets too cold for these migratory birds. Nice shot!
I take mine down but wonder if it is the right thing to do. Did you take that picture? It's great!
Diane that was a great capture. I love seeing the hummingbirds buzzing around my butterfly bushes.
