The Report of Real Estate's Death Has Been Greatly Exaggerated

By
Real Estate Agent with Edina Realty

I have more buyers that ever.  When I call to set up showings in many neighborhoods, a couple of them are always "Sold, Pending Inspection."  So I know it's not just me!

But they are ALL  looking for a deal.  So sellers beware:  You must price competitively.  You must put the home in better condition than the competition.  You must have it marketed properly.  Insist that the agent has good photos, good networking among other agents, and good support from their broker.

That's how I got multiple offers twice this year!

It's true Ben.

The market has actually been very good for us too. While many mortgage Brokers are crying the blues and Real Estate Agencies are closing the doors; WE HAVE BEEN THRIVING! I credit our high level of integrity and professionalism to our recent success. While the others were doing mortgage and real estate fraud, at time with the help of Active Rain; we remained honest and vigilant. In the end, whenever that may be, it all comes out in the wash. The market is alive and well. That's 4 Sure!

Ben - I have to agree that it seems that while house values may not rebound for a couple of years, the quantity of transactions are still going to. June 2007 was the third best June in Columbus Board of Realtors history behind only 2005 and 2006. Not bad ...
