"Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash." -- Jesus Christ (Matthew 7:24-27)
In real estate as in life, we must build our houses on foundations of rock. It's important that we seek guidance from those more knowledgeable than we are as we begin making decisions on important issues. When it's time to make decisions which will affect your life and the lives of those around you, you must answer this question; Is my decision based on a firm foundation, a "rock" bed of information from a true, knowledgeable, dependable, unfailing, inerrant source and have I meditated on the decision long enough to discern it's correctness?
If you have counsel that you've trusted in the past and they've proven to always be true and dependable, then you have greater comfort in the decisions you make. Always trust the wise and disregard the foolish.
