Karen  I am confident neither one of us will ever forget the significance of being in the same church that many early American patriots attended.  18th century churches played such a vital role in our development

Since it was built in 1772 many members of the congregation obviously played a role in the events that led up to America's Independence

The tomb of the Unknown American Revolutionary War Soldier is in the church cemetery as is the burial site of Dr. Craik, George Washington's personal physician.

Arthur and I were members for several years. He served as Head Usher and said he would imagine himself seating early patriots. Sitting in a pew for "Sunday Meeting" was an awesome experience for us.
