Time to Relocate -- Baby, It's Cold Outside!

Time to Relocate in Windsor, CT

They've had a wonderful summer in the great outdoors, fun in the sun, and they're looking all the better for that time not being cooped up in the garden window, but having room to spread their leaves a bit.

But it's forecasting to get down around 35 degrees tonight, so my my blog is little bit short this evening.  TIME TO RELOCATE!

Had to spend the last hour or so bringing in all the houseplants, cleaning up their pots, and finding a place to settle them.

Seems they've grown so much over the summer that they won't all fit back in the garden window.

If you're one of Connecticut's snowbirds, and you're making plans to relocate down south so you can avoid one more Connecticut winter, feel free to give me a call for a personal real estate consultation.  Like my jade plants, we'll get you settled into a more comfortable and warmer location when it's time to get out of the cold!

Those look like Jade plants?  They are beautiful!  I wish I could keep plants alive.

Jades seem to be one plant that I do really well with. And these have gotten pretty big! The pot on the left is a 14" pot!

Low of 35 Degrees Lisa? I know I've been living in Texas too long. Wow, I can't even imagine that this time of year.

Lisa....I think this economy is going to nudge many more seniors to sell their existing homes and scale down to a condo here and a condo in florida....I'm hearing alot of conversation about that from seniors here.

There's always a way to tie in what we're doing to real estate isn't there?  It sure has been chilly lately!

Lisa...Beautiful plants!  Wow, 35 degrees!  I live in the mountains of Arizona and we are approaching that yet - and I'm really happy about that.

Scott - definitely too early for me as well!

Joni - Thanks!  Always gotta look for that tie in!

Barb - well, hopefully we can grab part of that market and do some good business as we help them get down to warmer places....some day I'll have to have a warm weather place myself!!

Karen - Well, this is New England and as you well know, our weather is nothing if it's not variable.  I heard on the weather report this morning that while it was 40 degrees out, and projected for 70's later today...that it's supposed to be back up to 85 tomorrow.  Go figure!  ... and catching you is not going to be easy!...

Carra - thanks, it's only my jades that look this good; and I have a couple of large aloes that are doing well, but I've got to find something else to add to the garden so I have some variety!

LIsa~ They really are very pretty! I envy anyone who can grow keep alive a plant.  My Mom had a green thumb but sorry to say she did not pass that on to me.  :(

Melissa, thanks - I wish I could say I had a green thumb, but that usually means someone can keep a whole array of plants alive. I think the jades and I have an affinity for one another...some other plants, not so much!
