Just west on Highway 290 about 40 minutes from Cypress, TX lies Chappell Hill, TX. The annual Scarecrow Festival, to be held October 9th and 10th, will draw an enthusiastic crowd as it does every year. The Festival will include over 250 exhibitors including artists, craftsmen, clothing designers, and hand-crafted jewelry makers. Bring your Christmas list and get some shopping done early!!!
There will be plenty of food vendors with delicious, homestyle cooking, so come hungry! For the children, there will be a petting zoo, face painting, a barrel train and pony rides. No bored kids at this outing!! I am looking forward to a trip to Chappell Hill this fall!! Hope you can make it, too!! :)
