Nampa Idaho Real Estate and planned communities

Nampa Idaho is a suberb of Boise, with an approximate population of 70,000.  In between Nampa and Boise is a city named Meridian which over the past 15 years has exploded in popualtion growth and now that most of the affordable land there has been spoken for Nampa is now reaping the benefits.  Unfortunately the city is playing catch up in  terms of planning, by basically building enough roads to accomidate all the subdivisions it can handle.  The planned community with mixed use has not really crossed the minds of developers in Nampa.  In Boise they are starting to see some of these communities. As a real estate practioner I would like to see more of these planned communities for the long term health and vitality of our community.
