You Could Complain Or You Could Get A Job

Stop wasting your time listening to the Tea Party telling you how bad things are and for whom you should vote and for whom you should not vote.

Do You Need A Job?

You may be in luck.

The State of Maryland has been creating jobs at a pace which surpasses that of most of the nation.

Harford County, Maryland has been one of the hot beds for employment in the state, mainly because of the influx of jobs related to the military's base relocation and closure initiative (BRAC).

42 new defense contractors have already moved into the Harford County, with 24 of them moving in the last six months.

To get in on this extensive job growth, you may want to attend the up coming Job Fair.

Jobs are a good thing...especially in our business. Anything to improve employment is welcome.

Ron,

Good post.  Jobs are out there.  Just go and get one.

I am thinking that anyone who talks about how easy it "should be" for someone else to get a job... should try walking a month in that person's shoes.  Just go and get one, huh ?  I am amazed at your empathy.  How nice.  I hope you never have to find out what it is like to have great skills, but find hundreds of people applying for each job.  I know people in that position.  It is not fun.

I hope the jobs that you say are coming... provide some relief for the families of those who have sought jobs, and have been unable to find them.

John,

Thank you for commenting.  The more that we let people know about job opportunities, the more chance there is that people will become employed.

Karen,

Yes, there are jobs.  It is important that people know where those jobs are.

Karen Anne,

I do not say anywhere in my blog that it is easy to get a job.

The main point of the blog is to let people know where jobs are.

Their skills may match the requirements for these jobs or they may not, but there are more jobs in Harford County Maryland, and in Maryland, in general, than in other parts of the country.

I believe that it is worth while to let the public know about such opportunities.

I am glad that you care enough about me to say that you hope that I never get in the position of trying to get a job under the circumstances which so many people face today.  I have already been there and more than once.  I know, personally, that it is not fun.  I absolutely have empathy for the people who are currently going through these difficult times.

Also, another important point about Maryland, is that, in conjunction with business, they have developed several programs and curricula, which are designed to train people in the new fields of today, such as cybersecurity and solar systems.

If you are aware of any jobs in your area, please, let us know; I will be glad to pass on the information.

Have a good day.
