I have wondered more than once, whether blogging was nothing more than an activity that some real estate professionals are engaging in to look busy. When I answered my phone the other day, this question was answered once and for all.
The caller ID read, "PRIVATE CALLER" and I almost didn't answer my phone because the number was blocked. Usually a blocked number is not someone that I want to speak to. However, I chose to answer the phone and the caller identified himself as Bill from Fox News and wondered if I could speak for a few minutes with him about an investigation that he was researching.
At this moment many thoughts were running through my head, chief among them was how did Bill from Fox News find me. Bill answered this question as he went on to tell me that he came across my blog on Activerain when he was researching this real estate issue. My blog that was based on an experience that I had with a closing has produced an on-air interview opportunity as a real estate expert.
