Vignettes Anyone? I know that vignette is a controversial staging word but they really work for me particularly for investment properties and flipped homes. Here is a townhouse we staged in Manassas, VA that went under contract in 5 days after being originally on the market for over 90 days.

Thanx Cathy - I'm really happy about the fast turn around - I think it just needed some color and updating - realtor took all my suggestions and made updates and I think that made the difference along with some of the merchandising. I also did the curb appeal which made a huge difference. Staging Works!

That's a good idea, didn't really think of that just adding vignettes rather than expensive furntiure.
Hi Tori - I do it all the time and it works really well for middle class homes or older homes that have been partly renovated. It really cuts the costs for the client but still adds some charm and character to the home. Obviously the vignettes have to make sense and be tasteful so that buyers understand what rooms they are looking at - I also use blow-up beds particularly for the master bedroom. Hi Kristine - this was an investment property and the investor didn't want to rent furniture so I created small scenes throughout the space. It looks so much nicer in person and even my husband commented on how beautiful it looked as he did the curb appeal on this home.
