Once again the Boise State Broncos are helping to put Boise Idaho in the national spotlight.  This time it is thanks to ESPN choosing Boise as the host for College Game Day on September 25th.

All of Boise is a buzz about the extra hype and media coverage.  Local sports bars are thinking since this is an all day event that their sales will out perform those of the last weeks win against Virginia Tech and even beyond both Fiesta Bowl Wins.

The gates to the stadium will open up bright (?) and early Saturday morning at 5:30 AM.  Broadcasting for ESPN's Game Day will be live from the stadium from 7-10AM.

BSU Football brings ESPN's College Game Day Sept. 25th!

I look forward to a major day of college football and wonderful tailgate parties in the parking lot prior to the game.  Thanks to ESPN for bringing such an exciting broadcast to Boise putting us on the center stage!

I have a nephew that is coming to town to watch the game since he graduated from Oregon State as did my father.  My wife and I are both BSU Alumni so we will obviously be cheering on the Bronco's!

I will be a bit bit pre-occupied so if you want to look at homes that day, you will have to have your pre-approval and my buyer representation agreement in hand before I am willing to scalp my tickets!

@Jim, I am a BSU alumni so it is fun watching the university grow from when I started well before the blue field was installed.  I should have been in your area this week since there was a conference hosted by Overseas Brats at the Hilton in Eugene this past week for those of us that spent our formative years as children overseas.  I am anxious to hear how many showed up.  Some how, I missed the announcement and ran across it on their website when it was half over.
