John, I will have to check him out.  I lived in TO for twenty years and loved the music and art scene in the city.  Have fun at the Art Centre.

I never knew that Port Moody was known as the City of The Arts.  That's really cool. That sounds like a fun festival.

Marcia: I just returned to BC from a trip to Ontario. At the hotel there was a huge display with all the things to do and see in the Golden Horseshoe; quite amazing.

The former Port Moody City Hall (a heritage building) is the home to the Arts Centre, and is one of the local venues being used for the festival. I appreciate your comment Marcia.

Malcolm: The City of the Arts is currently a work in progress with some navel-gazing underway. The ultimate goal is to provide opportunities to enjoy the arts as a spectator or participant.

The festival is one of the premiere events put on in Port Moody. Others include the Wearable Arts exhibition, Golden Spike Days, and we have just wrapped up summer Sunday concerts in the park. The festival will be well plenty of fun for anyone who wants to take it in. Thanks Malcolm.
