My coach says that most of the top producers have a schedule and stick to it unless there's a fire in the building or a real emergency. I, on the other hand knew that I didn't need a schedule, I'm a big girl and know what needs to be done on a daily basis so I tried the check off list for awhile. I found that I was cramming a lot of miscellaneous into my late afternoons and doubling up on other things, skipping others - actually I realized that I wasn't really working at this Real Estate Career as much as I thought! I mostly work out of my home and had always said that when I was in the office I was socializing instead of working.
Okay, now I've given in and with the help of my "accountability-buddy" I've actually written up my schedule and I'm stickin' to it! I'm finding that I actually get more done now than I used to (Real Estate that is). I'm giving a copy to all my current clients so that they know what I'm doing when they call and why I may not be answering the phone each time. I tell them what is the best time to call me...I know if they call me two times back to back that it's a real estate emergency - whatever that is!!
Anyway - I'm wondering how many agents - big or small have a schedule and stick to it. Those of you that don't are you finding yourself becoming big producers?
