Coldwell Banker Releases the Annual Home Affordibility Report

According to a new report done by Coldwell Banker Real Estate, Albany NY ranks the 119th most affordable market when buying a home in America.
The Coldwell Banker Real Estate Listing Report, is designed to provide information on real estate data from all around the country for buyers and sellers.
Coldwell Banker Real Estate looks at over 296 markets across the United States. Coldwell Banker Real Estate Report looked at the price of more than 18,000 four-bedroom, two bathroom properties that were listed between February and August. The average home, after doing the numbers from 18,000 listing, was approximately $353,000.
Clifton Park's average sales price $265,500. Almost $100,000 under the average national listing price. The most affordable market was Detroit, Detroit, where the typical cost for a four bedroom 2 bath room house is at $68,007. Newport Beach in California was at the top of the market with $1.8 million for a four bedroom 2 bath home. The most expensive in NY was in Rye with an average listing price of $1.3 million.
