The beginning

Real Estate Sales Representative with Coldwell Banker

Well, this is my first foray into the world of blogging. I have read that most blogs fail, mostly due to lack of attention. I wonder what has to happen in order for a blog to be considered 'failed'. I imagine it is mostly related to lack of posts, or no posting at all, but perhaps the number of readers is taken into account as well.

It would seem to me that in order for a blog to fail, that would mean that it did not acheive its intended purpose. So I will ponder over the next day or two what the intended purpose shall be for this wonderful new blog.

Daniel - welcome to the blogosphere!  You are going in the right direction.  Just let those thoughts and questions flow through your fingers and you will see a marked result.  Sometimes we all just have to find our comfort zone with blogging and then let it flow.  Best of luck!

Hi stumbled onto the right place. If you write, comment on other blogs on AR and keep writing, you'll be successful. I would say that 'outside' or 'independent' blogs mail fail due to lack of readership.

This place is a whole different ball of wax. Lots of sharing, info, help and friendly people. You'll do fine and will be a roaring success, if you want it. :)

see you around.. Welcome to Active Rain!!

Daniel - Welcome to ActiveRain; we're glad to have you here!

I agree with Carol and Nick.  The key here is not only to post, but also to interact with everyone here.  Commenting on other's blogs is a great way to get started.  Become familiar with others do, not only in your geographical area but across the country.  Add individuals to your associte list, subscribe to other blogs, etc.  Share a lot of information and settle into a comfort level once you have familiarity with others.  Good Luck!
