Located next door to its illustrious predecessor, The Gardens on El Paseo, the single-story shopping plaza boasts shaded courtyards of fountains, statuary and seating areas, in addition to a luscious array of tempting storefronts.
Boutiques include Kate Spade, Juicy Couture, Lucky Brand jeans, Between the Sheets, and children's store Janie and Jack jostle bigger brands Banana Republic and bebe. Mastro's Steakhouse will soon anchor one end of the block-long mall.

On a late-afternoon September day, the busiest store was Apple, the iconic computer company inhabiting a sleek, contemporary space befitting its cutting-edge products. Vowing to return another day to product-play, we then assessed the colorful merchandise at purse purveyor, Kate Spade—now offering sartorial garb from sweaters to shoes.
At Teavana, we sipped hot-and-cold tea samples, listened to a friendly clerk extol the wares, and admired the unusual collection of tea things scattered throughout the appealing store.


The city of Palm Desert takes pride in its face-to-the-world and this newest space validates the city's quest for aesthetic, functional destinations.
