Happy Friday to everyone!

I hope this finds you having a wonderful day.  Things are looking quite nice here in the Pacific Northwest.  You may remember last February when it was so mild and dry round here that the Olympics struggled to have enough snow for the events.  Then in June it was so cool and wet we dubbed it "June-uary" and now for the first weekend of fall it looks like summer has finally arrived, better late than never.... They are predicting that tomorrow will be our first "sunny" day for the month of September.  An entire day of sun???!!!!  Woo Hoo, just in time for Oktoberfest :)

I hope whatever you do this weekend it is lovely weeather and you have a good time.

The jump is so frightening between where I am and where I want to be.
But because of all I may become, I will close my eyes and leap.

If you really do put a small value upon yourself, rest assured that the world will not raise your price.     ~Unknown

When obstacles arise, you change your direction to reach your goal; you do not change your decision to get there.  ~Zig Ziglar

I just read an article about goals and I'd like to share a few thoughts from it.  It stated that at the end of next week we'll be entering the 4th quarter of the year and many of us have lost focus on the goals that we set in January.  It is hard to keep your eye on the ball for an entire year, and even more so when we are in such tough economic times.

But it went on to say, it is not too late to get back on track, or even set new goals.  In fact, the 90 days that we have in the 4th quarter is more than enough time to achieve some pretty incredible things.  Think about it...  90 days is usually plenty of time to see a significant result from a diet plan.  Most businesses are launched during a 90-day period, many books are written in 90 days, our four seasons are 90 days apart - and you can go from the harshest of Winter to the overflowing abundant life of Spring in just 90 days.  Most of our agricultural crops have a 90-day growing period ~ from seed to harvest in just 90 days.

So think about what you still hope to accomplish in 2010, where do you want to be by the end of the year, there is still time.  I wish you all the best in getting from where you are to where you want to be.

See ya next Friday!     ...geri
