
Nationally single family starts continue to reduce and have for the last three months now hitting a 23.3 percent decline since the April tax-credit signing deadline. Locally, Manteca is still the hot spot for New Home Sales in San Joaquin County. “Economic indicators” are mixed but still suggesting a very modest growth pace for the third quarter. San Joaquin County projects report much lower traffic numbers than have been report over the last 8 weeks, coming in at a two-month low. The county saw no new properties released into the new construction inventory.
