Don't keep letting the poor things die!

By
Home Inspector with United Professional Real Estate Inspectors, Inc.

I am not someone with a "green thumb".  Nope. Plants come into my home or outside my home to beautify the landscape and promptly wilt or dry up.   If someone needs a home inspection, my team and I are the best.  Plants, flowers, not so much.

After some research I decided to share my discoveries.  Too little water and the plant dies, too much and the roots set in.  As a general rule, plants want about an inch of water per week.  How do we know that our plants are getting the right amount?  When is the best time during the day to quench their thirst? How should we quench it"?

Expert Village has a great video worth sharing.  It helped me so it can help anyone. No matter how  off the mark you are.  Enjoy.

It is good to know just how much water makes a difference. Now off to water my plants while I am thinking of it.

Russ, I see you're in California. There are millions of Californians that are experts at indoor-plant cultivation. I'm sure some of them can give you a few pointers. :)
