The spotlight will be on Crabapple in Milton GA on October 2nd with the Crossroads at Crabapple Antiques and Art Festival taking place from 9am to 5pm. The event has roots dating back to 1969 and expects to have around 100 artists and other vendors with wares for sale. Admission is free and the Festival will be held regardless of weather conditions- a portion of sales from the event will benefit the Boy and Girl Scouts of America and other non-profit organizations. Event sponsors include the City of Milton and Olde Blind Dog Irish Pub.
According to event organizer Sally Rich-Kolb, there will be "thousands or antiques and accessories, from 19th century American Country to vintage/chic, pottery and old and new quilts" plus art and jewelry. She also cautions you to go early in the day to find the best buys.
Crossroads at Crabapple will also have a variety of food vendors with tasty treats, children's activities courtesy of the Goddard School from 2-4pm. Roaming musicians add to the old-fashioned festival feel. Parking is also free with trolley rides to and from the parking areas: for directions click here.
