What is HOPE...???
Have you ever seen HOPE expressed by the symbol of AN ANCHOR...???
That image gives us a keen insight of what HOPE is all about...
A boat or ship properly anchored will withstand practically any threat or storm that may arise...
We, as humans, are like that, also...!!!
If we are properly anchored, we will be able to withstand most of what life offers or thrusts upon us, if not, then we may be in danger of losing our way, becoming lost in a vast sea of chaos and confusion...
So, we must remain tethered to our CREATOR...that IS precisely what keeps HOPE ALIVE in us and gives us reason to continue on...
Recently, several people I know have expressed to me their lack of HOPE...I think they focus too much on the storms around them and not on their ANCHOR...They 'lose' HOPE based on people and circumstances around them...they feel let down by HUMANITY itself...their Creator has perhaps become a 'blur'...
Remember when PETER was asked by The Lord to walk on water...he did so successfully until he took his eyes off The Lord...
That is my message in this forum...A SIMPLE ONE...
Make this weekend a time to restore our HOPE...If we feel our anchor slipping, realize that the Lord has his eyes even on the sparrow...and believe that in The eyes of The Lord we are more precious than even a flock of sparrows...
