Richard Gere and his wife actress Carey Lowell Sold their Home in the Hamptons for $5.9 M. The home was on 1.2 acres of land in Water Mill,NY with 7 bedrooms a fireplace and many more gorgeous features. According to the Wall Street Journal the new home owner paid about a third less than the asking price which was around 9M.

Neat looking house. Although not sure it looks like a 6 million dollar house to me, and certainly not a 9 million dollar house. I guess for him, whats an extra million or two or three.
Interesting to see how the other half lives! I guess there is something to be said for location.
