Many have waited for a long time to see the completion of the Peachers Mill Rd widening project to be complerted from 2 lane to 5 lanes. For a long time the widening project looked as if it never would be completed. It looked as if all they needed to do was to pave the top layer and then paint the new lines.
Finally the day came that the lanes were painted to make Pearchers Mill Rd to 5 lanes. There was only one other issue. The speed limit remained the same 30 MPH where they reduced it during the constution period. This became of one the known speed traps in Clarksville, Tennessee.
The good news.... The Peachers Mill Rd Speed Limit increaded to 40 MPH one the end sections and 45 MPH along the main stretch of Peachers Mill Rd. When traveling from Tiny Town Rd, Peachers Mill Rd is now 40 MPH until Brook Hill Rd and then 45 MPH from Brook Hill Rd until you get to the West Fork Creek bridge. From here until you reach the 101st Airborne Parkway, the speed limit in reduced back to 40 MPH.
The speed limite from the 101st Airborne Parkway to New Providence Blvd is still only 35 MPH as this is a 3 lane road in this area.
