PLAY TIME IN BRANSON

SHELL KNOB, MO  PERKS

I decided to take my own advice and get over to Branson for the August lull, and take advantage of being an area resident.  As a Realtor living in Shell Knob, MO,  I'm still considered a 'local' for  Branson shows, and this includes the 'Perk' of getting show discounts

12 tenors

Today I went with two friends to see "12 Irish Tenors".  WOW!  Amazing to see so much talent on one stage!  The show was excellent.

The twelve young men belted out song after song, in harmony and solo. They performed with high energy and non-stop vocals, without elaborate scenery or costumes and kept the audience tapping their feet and clapping their hands.

Performers in Branson always go out to the lobby after the show to meet the audience.  I was struck by how young these tenors actually were, when you got to see them in person - so young and so talented, performing all over the world.

All this for the huge area resident discount ticket price of $5.00!  Folks, it doesn't get much better than this!

You're a lucky lady, Joan -- the 12 Irish Tenors for only $5 and then a chat afterwards?  In Reno, we have to pay about $27 per person for a seat in the auditorium to see the 12 Irish Tenors...if you add dinner, it's considerably more.  Oh yes, they are GOOD at  the harmonies!

Oh, I should have added that we have had a great time in Branson a couple of years ago as well -- great country singers, and soulful country singers, like Clay Cooper.  How's he doing?

Terry:

The full ticket price here was $36.00.  Glad you enjoyed Branson.  There are alot of shows, restaurants and shopping.  Sorry, but the name Clay Cooper doesn't ring a bell.  There are lots of shows I haven't had time to see yet

Patricia:  These fellows were outstanding, but they have a wide range of songs outside of what you typically think of as 'Irish".  Come visit any time  Be glad to show you around.

Hi Joan, I wish the ski areas would give that kind of a local's discount!  I am surprised the locals don't fill the place up and leave no room for tourists.
