Real Estate Market Report - 2008/2009/2010 Comparisons for Mansfield, TX Zip Code - 76063

An ActiveRain networking friend of mine is a real estate broker in Loudoun County Virginia (bet you AR junkies can guess who I'm referring to - duh!) and she recently did a Market Report that focused more on volume than prices.  I thought this report was particularly instructive of and insightful about how the current real estate market has taken shape.  Please check out the following stats and see if you think so too!

FYI: The zip code/neighborhood is on the southeast side of Tarrant County and is mostly made up of the city known as Mansfield.  Easily accessible via I-20 East and 287 South from Fort Worth or I-20 West and 287 South from Dallas.

2008 SOLD - 1,002 properties SOLD

  • Low price - $25,000
  • High price - $880,000
  • Average price - $188,141

 

2009 SOLD - 826 properties SOLD

  • Low price - $14,200
  • High price - $750,000
  • Average price - $184,601 

2010 SOLD - 829 properties SOLD

  • Low price - $ 20,124
  • High price - $ 1,499,000
  • Average price - $194,349

 

OBTW: I went back 1 year from yesterday (9/25/10) for 2010 figures, one year before that for 2009, and so on.
