What I like best about living in Ahwatukee - wow, there are so many things! Homes for sale in Ahwatukee have beautiful views of South Mountain Preserve; some have city views from atop the foothills; some have golf course views as well. It's the safest community in the Phoenix Metro area. It's within 20 to 30 minutes of the Phoenix International Airport without the airport noise. We have nicely appointed shopping centers and are within a few minutes of Chandler Fashion Square. There is fine dining as well as casual dining, theatres and one of the most active YMCA's in the valley. The Kyrene & Tempe Schools located in Ahwatukee are reknowned for their excellence - in fact, the two local high schools lead the state in Merit Scholars! Ahwatukee luxury homes can be found in Cabrillo Canyon, The Sanctuary, and Equestrian Estates just to name a few neighborhoods. There are also wonderful 2nd home opportunies for our winter visitors who would really like to spend their snowy, cold months in the fun & sun of Arizona!
