Aside from seeing some of our children and attending the Traffic and Conversion summit there were two other places that I wanted to see while I was in College Station and Austin Texas.

Wow, what an awesome experience your son must have had at the Library. Thanks for taking the time to document it for us, as well.
Katerina... wow... this was cool and I am jealous. One of the schools that I applied to when in HS was Texas A & M... long story. Now, what I would have been most interested in was the Berlin wall exhibit... lucky you. Thanks for sharing this..
Katerina,
I often remember President Bush's statement about wanting, "a kinder and gentler America." Perhaps it means more to me coming from a warrior who fought for it.

Okay now, I will admit to me a Library is BORING. As you can tell, I'm not a huge reader too but I'm changing my ways. But the story you told made me so inspired. I may even look at libraries in a whole new light now.
I guess I wont have an excuse not to take my son there for a field trip when his time comes.
Thanks Katerina for constantly challenging me to do better.
That is awesome, I would love to go there. I can tell your son is having a blast.
Kids learn so much more hands on than just in books.
Your son looks like a natural behind that desk, Katerina! Perhaps someday the real one will be his daily workspace...
Loreena- This is more like a museum than a library. They call it a library because it is like too egotistical to call a President's legacy a museum. So library is more toned down. There are no books there girlfriend! There are exhibits and plenty of story boards to read as you move through history. If you can get there, you will be amazed especially as a new American Citizen. It would mean a lot to you. Katerina
Oh wow, that is a wonderful place. It is now on my bucket list. I know that your son learned so much from the experience. On the Berlin Wall, I remember exactly where I was when it came on the radio that it was being built. I was a small child and listened in the dark of night . I can not imagine the horror that you lived through. God Bless!

Irene- If that is what he is destined to be, he shall be however I may have ruined that for him since I have led too wild of a teenager life that the opposition whoever it may be would certainly bring out to embarrass him. Katerina
katerina, what a wonderful experience for yourself and what an adventure for a little one. Thanks for the post
Maybe your son will grow up and be President one day!
We also have a small piece of that wall - a gift from a friend who went there.
Georgina- We have a piece, small one too. My brother brought it back with him. We also have ashes from Mt St Helens eruption:)
