It's officially Fall and the pool at this facility was officially closed for the season. The residents had a great time this summer and nobody was hurt, or thrown into the deep end of the pool.
The lifeguards were ever vigilant and their skills were never called upon. While there might be a few warm days left, the upkeep required to maintain would have been excessive and unjustified for a few hours of pleasure.
So we say good bye for now, and see you again next spring.
I find it hard to believe that summer is gone... over... done. 'Never ready for it to become official - when the pool closes.

I remember those days well, and miss them. I guess I will be able to experience them again when the grand kids ever come along :)
Ed ~ I needed a good laugh. This is hysterical. It definately is the end of summer and a bit too cool to take a dip.
Not what I was expecting either and it was very funny! Glad to hear the lifeguards had an uneventful season!
