Listing agents listen up. Afterall that is the name of our game. Talking is for asking questions, but listening gets you the best answers. Do you even know what inforrmation the co-op agent can and WILL use against you and your client?
We're not usually in the business of saying "No".
Yes, we can sell your house!
Yes, we can give you great service while we're selling your home!
Yes, we can negotiate calmly while the other side is being an absolute knucklehead!
BUT...when you ask us to do something NOT in the best interest of our clients, well the REALTOR© Guardian mode is engaged! No, Nein, Nada, Nyet...you CAN'T do that and we won't let you!
We're the Gatekeepers, standing watch over our clients. You're not going to get information from us that hurts them.
Why they're moving? Not relevant.
Where are they going? Not relevant.
How low will they go? SERIOUSLY??? You think we'd tell you that??
We'll say it nicely, but you will NOT get leverage from us. If you want to talk too much about your clients...well, THANK YOU! We'll be happy to use that information to OUR client's best possible advantage!
