Wow what fantastic weather we had in Frederick MD last Saturday. So I rescheduled all my appointments and went Fishing with the family. There are so many choices for great places to go fishing that we had a hard time deciding. Since it was my 10 year old granddaughters second time fishing (and she wasnt' thrilled the first time) my husband bought her a cute pink-ish fishing rod, we packed a lunch and off to Whittier Lake we went.
I personally do not fish, so took a folding chair, set myself up under a tree, with a cold bottle of water and a good 
Book. I didn't get too much reading done because I was designated the official photographer. I guess i spent most of the time congratulating them on their huge catches
( if you look very closly you can see the tiny fish.)
and of course posting the pictures to FaceBook.
But what a great way to spend a few hours with the family on a sunny Saturday afternoon in Frederick County.
