With all the headlines about the state of the real estate market on the national level, does that mean that the Little Rock area market in the same. The answer is no. Yes our inventory of homes for sale is higher and the days a home takes to sell is up over the last couple of years, but homes are still selling and people are still getting loans at historically low rates. Home prices are still rising at a 3% pace, which is only slightly slower than a normal pace. Little Rock is still making list for the best value in homes. Little Rock and central Arkansas area is beating the national market and is a long way from a bad market. It is a great time to buy a home because of still low rates and a bigger selection the choose from. It is still a good time to sell your home as long as your property is price right, in top conditions, and marketed in the right way. No longer can you just put a sign on anything and have it sale, but that is true most any time except for the last few years that has spoiled us.

It is very interesting to learn about other parts of the country. Thats what I like about Activerain. Arkansas sounds like its a good market right now and that is great. Much success to you.
