We Are Subject To Change

Imagine getting out of debt. Imagine living in that house. Imagine growing a successful business. Imagine meeting your soul-mate. Imagine someone I love turning their life around. It's negative thinking which prevents us from creating the life we desire. In other words, we must see ourselves on the podium accepting the trophy a thousand times before it has even happened. We are subject to change.

If we can find people who have been successful we must tell ourselves it was allowed to happen for them. We have to stop seeing ourselves as the way we are and start seeing ourselves as the way we want to be. It's the temporary things that let us get discouraged.

Things such as the recession, debt, and being lonely are temporary and subject to change. Instead of being discouraged or accepting "our lot in life" we need to ask ourselves if this is permanent. It may feel like the winter of your life, but it's time to start seeing there is new growth on a seemingly dead branch.

We simply need to look at the world as if our path has not been blocked. Lift up your head and shake off the disappointments. Remember our perceptions become our realities. Are you going to be the eagle with the greatest of vision? Or will you be the chicken always looking down? Expand your vision, change your perspective, and begin to move. We are subject to change.

Amen!  Is that glass half full or half empty.  Even if home sales were down 50%, there is still an opportunity to be involved in the 50% that ARE selling.  Sales being down 10% in my area is nothing.  I will take part in the 90%.

The power of positive thinking!  Thanks for the reminder because it has been difficult lately.
