Wordless Wednesday (almost!): Looks a little fishy to me...

Wordless Wednesday (almost!): Looks a little fishy to me...

Fishing Season is still swimmingly alive here in southern Utah and when we travel to one of our favorite fishing spots in Piute County, we usually have lunch or dinner, depending on how good the fishing is for the day at the Otter Creek RV restaurant across from  Otter Creek Reservoir in Antimony, Utah. The cheeseburgers are delicious!

Every wall in the restaurant is covered with unique, some one-of-a-kind plaques that describe every fishing experience you could have. Looks a little fishy to me...

Looks like a great place to eat, Wanda. We have a catch and release fishing tournament coming up as a Fundraiser for the SPCA this weekend so I enjoyed seeing this. Thanks for sharing.

When there is a lull in the conversation, you can alway read the wall!  However, maybe there will be no conversation because everyone is too busy reading the walls!

Toni, We catch and release when we aren't going to eat them. Have a woderful time, that sounds like FUN to me...and seems a little fishy!

Chris, It is entertaining and the food is pretty good, especially after a full day on the lake!

Wanda, these are so cute.  I am not a "fisherman", but I think this is the best time to go fishing if they are still biting.

Al & Peggy, A fishing trip sounds great right about now!

Linda, That thought never crossed my mind...maybe if you 'BYOF'!

Kaera, This is a collection, plus there is more at a restaurant near Otter Creek Reservoir. We have enjoyed it for many years now.

There is an idea we can do on one of our days in Utah... GO FISHING. How long is fishing season open and how much for an out of state license?

Thanks Roger, We do enjoy what our area has to offer and I love to let other people know!

Craig, The burgers are GREAT and they have fry sauce that they mix up themselves!

Hmmm...Yes, I do Chris! Ha-ha!

Debra, It's just a country store with everything / all you need while you're fishing or camping or both!

Todd, Some people fish all through the year. Me, I like to fish when it's nice and warm and it is a little brisk in the middle of November!

Ed, The rest of the walls are covered too!

Tom, Spencer would love fishing anywhere, I'm sure!

William, Yes, it is FUN just to be there whether you catch your limit or a few or in some cases, none!
