NJ Transit has made the end of summer more enjoyable.
As of the Fall of 2007, NJ Transit will be offering 126 new trains on the Pascack Valley line. Included in this figure are 16 new weekday trains going to Hoboken and Secaucus and seven outbound trains, being added as of October 28, 2007. There will be new weekend services as well.
"Passing Sidings" have been constructed along the single-track line in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ, Hackensack, NJ, and Nanuet, NY, creating an opportunity for additional train scheduling. These sidings allow trains operating in opposite directions to pass one another on a short stretch of double track.*
If you are looking to move to the Pascack Valley Region (including, but not excluding, Hillsdale, Westwood, River Vale) and would like more information on commuting to NYC from the Pascack Valley Region, please do not hesitate to contact me.
