HubSpot's Website Grader is an interesting tool to help answer how your web site stacks up against your competition. It is easy to use and free. I always have some angst about our performance but seeing that our site PinnacleHouses.com rates higher than 96% of all web sites is reassuring. I suggest that you try it out.

For years I have been trying to figure out how to measure web site success. Most experts answered that the measurement was if we received sufficient business from the site. We have been receiving 15 - 20% of our business through our web activities but I still cannot tell how much business that my competitiors were receiving through their sites. This tool at least rates other sites and is a step toward an answer.
