Claire, that sounds wonderful, I'm so happy to hear builder embracing green construction. Do you know if these homes have been rated by LEED - USGBC or by NAHB's - Nation Green Building Statard ? If so what certification level have they reached, Thanks.

David, Thanks for your response.  This home are one step below LEEDS certification.  They are in fact with a HERS score of 91.0 and HERS Index of 45.  The builder is considering doing what it takes to have the home LEEDS certified!  Do you have anyone relocating to Staten Island who might be interested in green construction?
