The Town of Nocatee in Ponte Vedra, Florida is located along Palm Valley Road between US-1 and the Intracoastal Waterway. The whole community sits on over 15,000 acres, 85% of which is in St. Johns County and 15% is in Duval County. Its location right in the middle of St. Augustine and Jacksonville gives its residents the conveniences of both, not to mention easy access to beautiful Ponte Vedra beaches.
The Nocatee Town Center opened in January 2010 and holds the largest Publix in Northeast Florida. Nocatee residents can now buy groceries within their community. The Town Center provides space for many other businesses as well.
A community favorite is the Nocatee Splash Water Park which opened in March of 2010. Speed down one of the high speed water slides or relax in the lazy river winding through cascading waterfalls. The park also includes a recreation area with an interactive spray ground all children can enjoy. This is truly fun for the whole family!
The Nocatee Greenway Trail System allows for hiking or biking through much of the community including the Nocatee Preserve which contains 2,400 acres of land by the Intracoastal Waterway. The Trail System covers over 5,000 acres altogether and contains electric cart paths that connect all of Nocatee's neighborhoods with the Town Center.
