"To discover and share knowledge about plants and their environment, in order to preserve and enrich life."
-Missouri Botanical Garden Mission
On June 12, 2007, I had an opportunity to visit the Missouri Botanical Garden. It's a shame I get there so seldom, as it's about six blocks from where I live. As is often the case, we take so many things for granted. This amazing garden is one that should not be taken for granted. We are very fortunate to have it so close to us for all to enjoy.
For information on the Botanical Garden and it's history, visit: http://www.mobot.org/
It was a beautiful afternoon - a great day for a walk - and the opportunity to shoot some photos.
I've compiled them in four virtual media presentations. I hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoyed shooting them.
If you get the chance, please make plans to visit the Garden. It's a great way to enjoy some great scenery and get some exercise, too.
