There's something screwy going. I find myself saying that every once in a while during an inspection. I'm going through the house and happen upon some oddity that starts my head to hurting from me scratching my scalp in wonderment.
Here is a great example of a head massaging moment. This screw jack was obliviously a bit short for the job. So what's a person to do when the jack doesn't measure up for the task at hand? Why grab some bricks and other stuff and shim it of course. That'll hold everything up real good. Yes sir it sure will now won't it. Kind of reminds me of the leaning tower of Pisa on life support.
Besides this jack being screwy I have to believe the person who did the work may have been a little twisted.
