Infrared Home and Building Inspections Save Energy and Save You Money

Did you Know that air leakage in ducts accounts for 25% - 40% of the energy used for heating and cooling in a typical home?

Lets do the math!

In dollars, for a homeowner with average monthly utility bill
(Electricity and gas combined) of $157 per month, $39.25 of that is
spent on heating and cooling the attic! That’s $471 per year.

A full Utah Home Energy Audit costs $100. Two Certified Building Performance Specialists spend 4-5 hours at your home doing a full energy audit analysis that pinpoints all air leakage along with any energy efficiency concerns. You pay $100 and have a list that can easily save you 25-40% on your energy costs per year. It sounds like a no-brainer to me!

Spending $100 to have a list that can transend into a $39.25/month - $471/year savings is good business.

This $100 Utah Energy Audit program is governed by Uncle Sam and want be around forever. Take advantage of Government Utah Energy Incentives While You Can!

The blue thermal signature is cold air leaking out of the ductwork. These images were taken in an attic where the air handler is located. Not only is there energy loss this also effects pressures within the structure.

Pressures will cause gas appliances like hot water heaters and furnaces to not draft. This causing CO spillage which is dangerious.

We see problems like these everyday
